This event is being hosted by National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases, Karachi. We are expecting a great scientific and social event when you will have a chance to meet luminaries from all over the world and colleagues from Pakistan as well as other South East Asian Countries.

We are planning visits to Mohenjo Daro ruins, a civilization of 4,000 B.C., alongwith exciting visit of Bhambor, a civilization which was devastated after a tsunami disaster, 300 years back. Optional visits are also available for Gandhara civilization of Budha’s time.

1. Delegates will be considered registered after the payments are received.
2. Refunds request must be received in writing with badge/tickets on or before November 15, 2006. No refunds will be honored after last date. An administration fee of 25% of the payment will be deducted in such cases.
3. After October 30,2006, registration will only be accepted on site.
4. A late fee of Rs.500 (local delegates) or US $ 50 (foreign delegates) will be charged for on-site registration.
5. All costs include presidential dinner and faculty Banquet.
6. Transfer of registration will be possible after payment of 25% of the previously paid registration fee.

The official language of the conference is English. English is generally spoken or understand in all the major cities, though Urdu is the national language.

Passport & Visa

Nationals of other countries will require a prior visa which is routinely available from a Pakistan embassy or consulate that have been requested to accommodate delegates on priority. For any Inconvenience letter of registration / letter of invitation from the congress secretariat can be obtained for the purpose of visa.

It is advisable to take out health insurance.

Climate & Clothing
The weather in Karachi is pleasantly cool in December with temperatures ranging between 15oC to 25oC. Warm clothing is appropriate. Walking shoes are recommended for guided tours, and travel to the northern areas will definitely require warm clothing.
